Caitlin looked up at John and grinned. "Me either," she said as she returned his deep kiss.
"Babies don't eat a lot of cookies, right? I can give it some of those mini-Oreoes, and it'll be happy, right?" Pete asked with a worried look. When everyone looked at him, he shrugged. "I'm just looking out for the baby's well-being. Don't want it hopped up on sugar and... You know, it's not my kid so I can hop it up on sugar and just send it back to its parents."
Pulling back, Caitlin looked over at Pete and laughed. "The first time you do that, I'll send the evil Slinky after you," she said before smiling. She then looked behind her and smiled at Jack Harkness. "Thanks for coming, Jack. You too, Martha."
"No problem. And since there's another Jack here, just call me Aidan," he said.
"All right. MacPherson has been taken care of," Artie said as he wiped his hands off on his pants. He looked at all of them before looking at the door. "Why don't all of you take the rest of the day off. Go get some rest."
"That sounds like a lovely idea," Caitlin said as she slipped off the table. "Plus all of you are still in your pajamas."
"Hey, we jumped into action the moment Pete said you were missing," Jack said as he reached down and took Fred's hand.
Smiling, Caitlin went over to Pete and softly kissed his cheek. "Thanks," she said.
