Myka felt her eyes widen when Cait told them what MacPherson had tried to steal in England. "A police box?" she asked. "Like one of the ones I saw at the history museum while I was over there a few years ago?"
She didn't understand this. Why would MacPherson care about a police box, no matter how special it was? Now, if it was something like the telephone booth in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, she could have understood. But time travel wasn't possible. At least not as far as she knew.

What did make sense was MacPherson wanting invisibility. She tried to remember what artifacts she had come across that might be of help, and she could see the others were as well.
"Invisibility is a specific refraction of light," Fred said thoughtfully, tapping her finger against her lip. "I think lasers would be our best bet. He might be invisible, but he'd still be there. If we have lasers set, we could set it to trigger something if he trips it."
