Myka looked over at Pete when he spoke up in defense of Artie. "Pete, we're not trying to be hard oh him. It's just...a bit of surprise, given how much we all care about him and what's going on with MacPherson." She shrugged. "You're right, though - it doesn't change our relationship with him."
She hoped that he understood. As a secret service agent, she had been trained in the importance of knowing everything that could affect what was going on, and Artie's past was important, all things considered. They just needed a chance to work through the shock and figure out where they were going from there in terms of MacPherson.
"Pete, you're right. And so are Cait and Myka," John said before looking over at Jack as he turned the conversation back to MacPherson. "Depends on what you mean by help. I don't think Mrs. Frederic is going to let us out to go help look for him."
"And if we try, poor Artie might blow a gasket," Fred pointed out. "He's been through enough right now with all of this bringing the past and everything else up."
Nodding, Myka reached over and picked up the folder. "Right, but that doesn't mean we can't try to figure out where he is for Mrs. Frederic and...whoever it is she has looking for him." She flipped it over and looked at the picture of MacPherson. "James MacPherson. He's British-born, was part of the MI5 before he was brought into the Warehouse as Artie's partner back in the seventies. Looks like Artie found out he was stealing artifacts and sending them to a black market auction house, and MacPherson tried to blackmail him over what he had done in the sixties, not knowing that Mrs. Frederic had arranged for his release."
She frowned a bit as she skimmed the report. "How old is that woman anyway?"
