Caitlin didn't like what was going on. She had never seen Artie like that and it was a bit worrisome. After finding the rest of them, she started to do inventory as Myka and Fred spoke about why he was doing this. She found herself nodding when Myka said it probably wasn't because of their performances.
"I think Myka's right," Caitlin said as she sat against one o the shelves. "We've been getting the artifacts and bringing them back. Artie has been pleased with our performances. Plus, John and I spoke to Mrs. Frederick yesterday and she didn't seem too upset. She told us we'd done a good job and to enjoy the rest of our evening."
"When we got into the fight last night, he said there are things out there none of us understand and it's his job to keep us safe," Regan said from her spot on the floor. She looked at all of them and shrugged her shoulders.
"We deal with dangerous things every time we step into the Warehouse, though," Caitlin pointed out.
Regan shrugged again. "He said we needed to listen to what he says so we stay safe," she quietly said.
Caitlin gave her friends a worried look. "What do you think that means?" she asked.
