Pete found himself sighing as he started to scan the bar codes below the artifacts. He wasn't sure how to take Artie's mood since he couldn't remember ever seeing him this mad. Pete knew Mrs. Frederick could be a hard ass at times, but Artie usually rolled with the punches. Something big must of happened to get him so bent out of shape.
When John showed up, Pete glared at him for a brief moment before turning back to his work. "Maybe Artie needs to hug it out," he suggested.
"I'm not hugging him," Jack said as he pulled a wooden box from the shelf. He opened it and wrinkled his nose. "Gross. Who in the hell thinks a sweat rag Edison used is an artifact?"
"Hey. There is a body parts aisle," Pete pointed out. He stood from the ground and leaned against the shelf as John asked his question. "And what the hell happened with Mrs. Frederick?"
"He said something about us being more efficient when we aren't with our significant others," Jack started to explain as he pulled another box down. "As for Mrs. Frederick - she showed up last night and had a talk with Artie. Ever since, he's been on the warpath." Shrugging, he popped open the box and looked inside. "Oh, cool! A slinky!"
