For a split second, when she offered to take his hands, he considered tugging her back down to the couch so she'd land much closer to him. But, as he slipped his hands into hers and allowed her to pull him up to standing, he banished the thought. Whatever was blooming between them, he didn't want to ruin it by being an arse. He genuinely liked Parvati, he always had as a friend, and whatever this was, he didn't want to screw it up.
