Sarah turned and looked - really looked - at the person who she'd bumped into. Her gaze traveled to her left and then up, and up until she was staring into the stranger's wide, bearded face. He seemed rough, but not aggressive - though that didn't mean he wasn't dangerous. There was a look in his eye that Sarah couldn't quite place, and then it was gone.
"No, please, it was my fault," she apologized again. "I turned without looking where I was going." I was trying to get the hell away from here as fast as possible, ran through her head but she bit her tongue.
