Who: Ginny, Neville, OPEN TO ALL D.A. Members!
What: D.A. Meeting!
When: Monday, the 17th.
Where: The Room of Requirement.
Rating: TBD, likely low.
Ginny and Neville had worked out a plan. The other Houses would have to work out their own exit strategy, but Gryffindor still had the most people sneaking out for the meeting, so they had to be the most careful about not mobbing down the halls in a herd and leading the Carrows or their little spies right to them. Ginny had figured it made sense for one of them to be the first, and the other to be the last. That way one of them could be in the room to start organizing and answering questions, and the other one could bring up the rear and make sure no one was sniffing around too closely.
Ginny had drawn first this time, so she slipped out of the common room a good hour early, taking a meandering route through the hallways before finally making it to the Room.
When she stepped inside, it was set up like it usually was for D.A. meetings, and Ginny took a moment to bless the original architects of Hogwarts' magical wards and set up, since the D.A. would have a bloody hard time existing at all, if it wasn't for this room. There were strawmen dummies lining one wall for spell targets, and enough room for people to pair off, a large chalkboard for jotting notes and an array of chairs in front of them, for the talky parts of the meeting.
Ginny much preferred the DOING parts of the meetings. Helping people with hexes and spells was something she was much better at than standing up and trying to make people feel better, or explain the nuances of things. Luna, for all of her dreaminess, had actually been quite good at that. And Neville did a better job than Ginny of making people feel a bit less grim or afraid. (She had at least learned not to spend too much time mimicking Moody's CONSTANT VIGILANCE credo, since that hadn't gone over too well the first time she'd tried it.)
Things were in order at least, and Ginny busied herself writing on the board, noting the things that she could remember offhand that they should probably talk about.
