Who: Neville Longbottom & OPEN [OPEN to Carrows] What: Neville isn't breaking any rules... yet. When: Thursday, 31 March, early morning Where: Hogwarts corridors Rating: TBD
Once the sun was up, there wasn't anything to prohibit Neville from roaming the corridors of Hogwarts. It only seemed to be at night that the IS and the Carrows worried students would be up to no good, but Neville didn't need the cover of darkness to go on a purposeful and plotted walk past the paintings he knew he could trust, asking for news and reports of any suspicious behavior the evening prior.
He hoped for their sakes that every one of the DA members would be returning home for the Easter holidays, but also that they would come back again. A week without the immediate fear of the Carrows would give everyone the strength they needed when things got really bad... and with the turn detentions had taken, Neville had the feeling that was going to be soon enough.
Stopping by a portrait of a very young witch in a beaded cap, probably a second or third year if they'd had such distinctions in Hogwarts distant history, Neville bent as though to pretend to tie his shoe. Before he could offer a polite, quiet greeting, however, he heard footsteps further down the hall, and paid his shoelaces attention in earnest.
