Ernie suppressed the urge to laugh, grinning instead and rubbing at the back of his neck.
"I suppose I will let you know then, Hazel, if I am ever in the need of another hug. To be fair though, I doubt there are really that many occasions where a hug isn't appreciated."
He flashed another grin, in part because he wasn't really sure what else to do in this situation. Not that he didn't hug girls, he'd hugged Hannah and Susan on numerous occasions, but this had been a little different somehow.
Though that didn't make it a bad thing.
"Are you staying or are you going, because you half look like you're about to bolt upstairs at any moment."
