Smiling, Hazel cast a quick look at Ernie before settling her horn in her lap and beginning to clean it.
"I don't know how good of a teacher I'll be tonight, but I'll try," she insisted, as much to herself as she did to Ernie. "There are a few really simple songs you might be able to play."
She gestured to the little pile of sheet music peeking out of her case, some pages of which were brightly colored and sounded notes when you set a wand or finger upon the lines. Hazel had learned with these and enjoyed them despite being far too old for songs like 'The Witch's Furry Worry Hat' and 'Six Crups on a Leash.'
