Susan freed the boy in front of her and then moved on to the next when the first girl collapsed in Michael's arms. She bit her bottom lip as she leaned over and touched the wrist of the unconscious girl. She couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief wen she felt a pulse.
"No, she's alright," she assured them. "I think we should make sure they're all alright before we send them back. I mean, we don't even know how long they've been here..." It made her a little sick to think that these students had probably been there since before dinner; it would explain their faintness. They definitely needed food and water and Susan didn't want to just let them go without being sure that they would be alright. She could keep an eye on the Hufflepuffs, but not the others.
She freed yet another student, this one a Ravenclaw. What had these poor kids done to deserve this in the Carrows' eyes? She doubted it was much.
