Susan gripped her wand tightly as Seamus spoke. She nodded, fully prepared to to do whatever she needed to. She was running through a few jinxes in her head, deciding on Petrificus Totalus as they rounded the corned. But as the Gryffindor's spell cast light over what was before them, Susan forgot all about her wand. Seamus' words echoed was she was thinking and she wasn't normally a swearer, but this... This was pushing it.
She noticed the figure off to the side at about the same time as her partner, but she wasn't as quick as Seamus. She let out a shriek as Seamus disarmed the figure, only to realize that it was Michael. Susan turned her attention to the first years, feeling the anger bubbling up inside of her, knowing exactly who was behind this. It looked as if Michael had managed to get one of them free, but the poor girl was petrified.
"It's alright," Susan assured them. "We'll get you out of here." She gestured for the girl to come stand next to her as she knelt down next to another one of the Carrows' captives and set to work on his shackles.
