With a lot of self-control, Fleur resisted the urge to hug Bill. Workplace professionalism was only part of the reason for her reservation, but as she was still his wife, she tried to act somewhat normal. She smiled easily, but it was a blank smile, one without any emotion backing it up.
"Zank you for coming so quickly," She said, giving his hand a squeeze and clinging to it for a desperate moment. "I was een zee safe and eet made zee most 'orrible sound. I zink per'aps zee charm ees weakening a leetle wiz all zee extra magic een zee air. Could you 'ave a look?"
Fleur lead the way to the walk-in safe, the walls of it lined with drawers of money of every denomination in the known world. She walked all the way to the back shelves and turned to Bill, her face finally reflecting all the worry she felt.
