"I don't want to wonder what they'll do next. They've gone well beyond any horror I would've thought possible, and I don't doubt that they'll go farther still," Ernie remarked darkly.
The whole thing just made him feel sick, and it took a lot of restraint to keep himself from tearing up the bandages in his hands in frustration. But that wouldn't help anyone, least of all Michael.
"I think you were right when you said that not healing you hurt Madam Pomfrey a lot. She was really upset. She couldn't do it herself, but she was more than happy to slip that into the supplies," he gestured toward the potion. "I'm glad it helps."
The sight of the bruises and lacerations all over Michael though made Ernie feel even worse, if that was possible. "...how much worse are things going to get?" he asked after a moment.
