"I'm very fine with you not doing nothing," Michael admitted with a relieved smile. He liked the way Ernie's mind worked in deceiving the Carrows. Anything that worked against the Carrows was a good thing in Michael's book.
Michael gratefully sank on a chair that was surprisingly comfortable (just how did the Room of Requirement know he wanted a chair like that?) and took off his jumper and shirt. Thankfully the Carrows had concentrated on his torso and face. He figured they wanted to go for the grand effect.
Michael took a deep drink of the potion and almost immediately it felt as if a fog had been lifted off his head. For the first time since detention, he managed a genuine smile. "Now this is what I call good stuff. As for what happened -" Michael looked at the slowly-forming bruises on his body. "Obvious, isn't it? Makes you wonder what they'll do next."
