This was ridiculous. This was absurd. But more importantly this was wrong. And the sight of Madame Pomfrey, who was visibly upset, only drove home the wrongness of the situation. She was happy enough to give him whatever he asked for, and Ernie was soon stocked up with varying bandages (with a small potion hidden among them to help with the pain).
Leaving the hospital wing and going back in the hallway, seeing Michael again just made him feel so angry at the Carrows. Nobody deserved to be treated like this for doing the right thing.
"Come on, we should go somewhere. You should sit down," Ernie said quietly, his hand lightly reaching out and touching Michael's shoulder gently.
