Penny watched Percy intently for a moment, still mildly concerned for whatever he had to tell her, and how difficult it seemed to be for him to get the words out. Once he finished speaking, though, she felt her brow furrow again slightly, as she sat up straighter and tried to grasp for the right way to respond. "I know that."
Yes, she had isolated herself from the Wizarding world at large, but she still kept track of what was happening. And what was happening was not something she had wanted to witness.
"Propaganda or not, something... horrific is happening. And will continue to happen. And it may not seem too bad from some angles, but..." She dropped her voice again, placing her hands on the edge of the table and leaning in slightly, averting her gaze to the table as if that would help her go unnoticed, "I'm aware. I know, without a doubt, instinctually, that I'm not safe. Particularly me, and.. those like me."
Still, she was definitely grateful for the fact that he was tipping her off of these murmurings. And maybe, hopefully, Percy had some specific examples at hand, that he would be willing to share, that would at least give the dark cloud over Penny's head some sort of concrete shape. And so she sat there, silently, willing him to continue, silent plea for information only half-concealed in her eyes.
