Seamus' eyes slid closed as she traced the scars he now bore on his hand and wrist, her touch lulling and soothing him. "I'll make sure t'tell him, lass." He opened his eyes and looked at her. "But make sure I'm there when y'do. I want t'see the little bugger turn tail and run."
He curled his fingers around hers and was just starting to lean in to capture her lips when her next words startled him. "What?" He shook his head vehemently. "Stop talkin' like that, love. It's not true." He looked her square in the eyes. "You've kept younger students safe from detentions, and you've participated in the DA as much as we all have. It's not true."
