He sighed. "I'm alright, I s'pose. Maybe not quite 'tolerable,' but gettin' there," he said softly, smiling a bit when she kissed his hand. "It's finally stopped bleedin', which is a very good thing. I was gettin' tired of the bandages."
He turned back to the fireplace, watching the flames as he thought about Lavender's detention. "I can't believe what happened t'Lav, though." He looked back at Parvati. "She told you everythin' I imagine? I wanted t'kill the bastard when she told me." As it was late and they were alone, he felt able to speak more freely than he had when Lav had first told him the other day. He looked at Parvati seriously. "It is...it's gettin' very real."
