When Susan had asked for help trimming her bangs, Parvati had eagerly accepted. Lavender was really better when it came to hair in general, but Parvati had a pretty good handle on bangs, and welcomed a distraction that had nothing to do with the DA or Prefect duties or detentions or classes. Lately, it seemed that too much of her life was taken up by at least one of these things, and though she enjoyed the first, she appreciated the opportunity for a complete escape.
So, borrowing Lavender's scissors, she'd headed to the Prefect's bathroom, her favorite place in the castle this year, now that she'd been allowed in. The door open easily and Parvati peeked in hesitantly until she saw Susan, and then relaxed a bit. She'd never heard of someone being walked in on during a bath, but she was still careful about entering the room just in case, the same way that she double and triple and quadruple checked the lock when she was the one bathing.
"Hey Susan," she said brightly, walking over to her. Pulling two chairs together she put the scissors and a mirror down in one, and motioned Susan to sit in the other. "How're you doing today?"
