Lavender sat up and sniffled a little, prodding at her cheek. She wanted to forget everything about that night, but part of her could appreciate how important it all was. "Think you could take away the pain and some of the swelling, but keep the bruise? I don't think I should pretend it didn't happen. It should be a reminder, a sign of what's going on."
