Lavender turned her head to the side and looked at Parvati, rubbing her eyes roughly with the back of her hand. Lavender took a couple of calming breaths and managed to talk without stumbling over her words. "Professor Carrow told us to use it against each other. I obviously said no, but Daphne threw one my way. I managed to disarm her, but Carrow gave her back her wand. She tried again and it wouldn't work, so he used it on us instead. It... it was quick, but it hurt so much that it felt like an eternity. I sort of lost control of my body and went flying head-first into a desk."
