Fleur's sulk vanished completely as she laughed, reaching out to grab Bill's claw. "She would only find a way to blame me for zat analogy, so eet will be our leetle secret." She placed a kiss on the palm of his hand and disentangled herself from his embrace so she could make the tea. She poured them two cups and took the biscuit tin from the kitchen, leading the way into the living room. Despite the selection of chairs, Fleur sat very close to Bill and draped her legs over his, kicking off her shoes and flexing her toes.
Fleur drank her tea quietly for a few moments, glancing at their small dining area. The cottage was perfect for them, but if anyone else stayed over it started to feel crowded. Fleur assumed that when the time came to expand their family, they could build on top of their house or stretch out onto the grounds, much in the same way The Burrow was built, if maybe a little tidier.
"Per'aps we should invite your family over for dinner next week," Fleur suggested after a while. "Eet would be cramped... but zen I could cook somezing zat I could eat and your muzzer could put up wiz eet."
