Generally Susan didn't wake up this early on the weekends; she preferred to take her time in the mornings, particularly on Sundays. But, since her detention earlier on in the week she had been having a hard time sleeping. She was almost ashamed to admit it, but it had shaken her up pretty badly. Of course, she knew that she could have had it far worse, but that was just the problem. Now that Carrow had done what he did with Lavender and Daphne, detentions were bound to get far worse. The Potterwatch broadcast had maybe helped a bit, letting those outside the school what was happening to their children. But... She knew that it wouldn't stop.
So, the Hufflepuff pulled herself out of bed to actually do something productive, rather then just laying there, staring up at her bed hangings. She thought that she could go up to the library and continue working on pulling together healing spells to teach the younger years. Episkey was simple enough and some of them had already mastered it, but it couldn't heal everything.
When she reached the library Susan headed towards the back where she new the NEWT-level books were kept. She figured she would look through some of the older Herbology books for some remedies that Professor Sprout perhaps hadn't taught them. Pacing up and down the rows of shelves, she searched for something, anything that might be useful. She ran her fingers over the spines of the books as she walked, but in doing so she kicked up some of the dust. At the end of the row she paused as the dust tickled her nose. She sneezed quietly into the crook of her elbow and then sniffled.
