Susan's laugh made Terry blush a little and he became very focused on the books. He was nervous around her and was not sure why. His family gave him no training on how to talk to girls by sending him to an all-boys school. What were they thinking? The boy was certain that his father would be laughing at him for this stumbling with his words.
"I'm from Nottingham," he told her. "My dad is a professor at the university there but Mum is from Reims... France."
His mother was a witch from Beauxbatons. He had always wanted to see that school because she always spoke of how beautiful it was. The castle here was fascinating but it was not breath-taking. He shyly looked over at Susan again.
