Who: Parvati, Michael and some runaway fourth years and whatever else may roam Hogwarts at night! What: Parvati & Michael, after noticing that a few fourth years are missing at curfew, sneak out to try and find them. When: Tuesday, March 8th. Shortly after curfew. Where: Starts out near the Room of Requirement. Rating: Depends on whether they're getting caught or not.
Michael peered down the hallway carefully. They had managed to stay out past curfew and getting caught these days wasn't the best idea. Especially considering that he still hadn't gotten his hands on that cat-mint he planned to slip Miss Norris in case of an emergency.
Again Michael risked a quick look down the hallway. It certainly looked deserted, but that didn't mean too much. Peeves for instance was highly skilled in sneaking up on people and so were a lot of more nasty people and creatures. It was much better to be careful and take no unnecessary risks. Michael listened hard. It sounded as if the coast was clear. Merely the wind was howling outside and he thought that he could hear Moaning Myrtle cry somewhere not too far away. Michael's shoulders relaxed against the coat of armour he hid himself behind and he nodded at Parvati.
"Coast is clear," he mouthed when the armour suddenly grabbed Michael and threw him right into the middle of the hallway, all the while projecting an unmistakable air of 'I finally got rid of that coward behind me'. Michael scowled as the armour turned around and left, still giving him the impression of being far too smug for a piece of animated metal.
He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and climbed back to his feet. "I think it's safe to say we're clear here," Michael said in a normal voice.
And that was when a new sound could be heard. Like light footsteps and...giggling?
