Fleur didn't contradict Michelle. She didn't want to sound as rude as she so often did, but burns were worse than twisted ankles, so her honesty would probably sting.
"Oh, zank you," Fleur smiled, a dazzling, disarming grin. "Eet was a risky strategy but I was put on zee spot."
