Terry almost missed the meeting time as he fought to finish his essay on time. His mind had been violently torn between wanting for the right moment and the last sentences to fall into place. He knew that what he, Susan and Michael decided to do that evening could get them in a boat load of trouble. Long gone were the days of scrubbing trophies in detention, but his desire to stay quite was also fading fast. He couldn't stand it any more.
He went upstairs, careful not to wake sleeping beauty (Anthony), the boy crept to Michael's bed and shook him awake gently. He expressed interest in joining so Terry made sure he was aware.
Quietly, the boys made their way from the tower and through the maze of halls. He heard Susan's whispers and knew they had reached the right place. He nudged Michael and turned the corner and saw Lavender and Seamus there, as well.
