Sneaking out of bed like this always gave Susan this odd little rush. It was fun to be out of bed at night, the castle was beautiful at night, albeit a bit creepy. But, these days, getting caught out of bed could land you with much more than a slap on the wrist and the loss of some House points. So, Susan was on her toes. After speaking with Seamus earlier on during rounds, she knew that she would probably be meeting up with him. And she knew Terry would be there, but she wasn't sure who else, which honestly made her a bit nervous; she liked to know what to expect.
She was the first one to reach the Great Hall, not that it was such a feat as the Hufflepuff common room was the closest. After waiting for what seemed like forever, Susan ventured up the stairs a bit, hoping to meet the others. She heard footsteps and froze in place. But then she heard a familiar voice. She relaxed as Lavender linked arms with her.
"I was beginning to think no one was going to show up," she whispered, glancing between the two Gryffindors.
