As Fleur spoke, Alberta dropped a sugar cube into her tea and stirred it slowly, cooling it a bit before she drank. The girl seemed unhappy and despite the fact that she had brought the tea, she didn't seem to want to eat. As she spoke about the goblins, Alberta couldn't help but shake her head slightly. Whenever she went to Gringotts, she always had problems with the goblins; they were never particularly agreeable. She imagined that working with them could be rather difficult.
She lifted the teacup to her lips and blew across the surface before taking a small sip. Still a bit too hot, so she placed it back down on the table.
"Don't worry, I won't mention it," she assured her. She had known the Delacours for quite a long time and knew why Fleur didn't want them to know. They would worry too much and want her to come home.
"I'm sure its a difficult adjustment. Rene had a hard time too when he first moved here. It will take some time, but you'll find your place."
