Alberta stood to greet Fleur properly, kissing her once on each cheek. She looked the young woman over as she stepped back, she looked so much like her mother. Alberta and Apolline had known each other for years and when Fleur decided to move to London, she promised Apolline that she would watch out for her as best she could. Of course, Fleur was a strong young woman who really didn't need much looking after, but Apolline worried all the same, something Alberta could understand, having the same feelings about her own daughters.
As Fleur indicated the tea and tart that she had brought, Alberta grinned.
"Oh, of course not! In fact, it's been rather lonely in here today." She flicked her wand, summoning a small table and a chair for her guest. "You can just set that down there and have a seat," she instructed, returning to her seat at her sewing table.
