"I feel for you, mate." Oliver replied in a dead-pan voice and rubbed his arm. Charlie's idea of a 'nudge' resembled being hit by a Bludger.
Nevertheless, Charlie seemed to be game for Oliver's plan and upon that realization the muscles in Oliver's neck loosened slightly. He had been worried that Charlie would laugh it all off or, worse, call it a fool-hardy and stupid idea. It wasn't as if Oliver had managed to do much good with his little night-time excursions so far. On the other hand, the fact that there were no news about burning Muggle houses in the areas Oliver had visited spoke for itself. He allowed himself a tiny flicker of pride. Perhaps it wasn't all in vain after all.
"Let's go then." Oliver said and took off at a leisurely stroll. "So far I've been doing the standard spells, making houses unplottable, fire-fighting spells that activate at need - small things like that but of course I can't cover nearly enough ground on my own." Especially if he kept up his habit of running into people and 'adopting' strays.
