A little puzzled by Susan's response, Daphne flicked her gaze to the painting and looked at it for a few moments. Such an answer would seem natural from a younger year, a firstie who was still impressed by the castle's manifold features. A seventh year? As much as Daphne appreciated the artwork found around Hogwarts, she rarely found any of it particularly worth stopping by at random anymore.
"Yes...very lovely." She stared at it for another second before looking back to Susan, arms folded. "Not much for landscapes myself, usually."
An awkward silence hung in the air as Daphne stared at Susan, wondering if perhaps it would behoove her to be more forward. "I'd think you might want to be more careful about wandering around the corridors and getting distracted by paintings that have been here since we were first years. Especially with so many people making trouble for themselves?"
