"I know zat," Fleur said. "I am glad zat you do, too. I 'ave not met Charlie but Bill 'as told me all about 'im." Fleur looked at Tonks for a long moment. She wasn't threatened by her, but it was good to know that even if Molly didn't want Fleur with her son, she would have to look harder for a replacement.
"Zey all like you, zough. Zey do not like me," Fleur said. She did agree that it was only Bill's opinion that really mattered, but being so family-orientated herself meant that she could fully understand how much Bill's family meant to him, and if it came down to a choice between the woman he loved and his family, she would not blame him for having a hard time with the decision. Try as she might to make a better impression, every attempt she had was skewed into something bad.
"Why are you so glum, zen, eef you are not pining for Bill?" Fleur asked with a grin. "You 'ave a face on like – oh, 'ow do you say... someone 'as kicked your puppy."
