It felt as if a very heavy weight had been lifted off his shoulders and almost immediately a small, relieved smile found its way onto Oliver's face.
"I wouldn't ask for anything else," he said and squeezed Alicia's hand. "I just need a little time to get in touch with Luc and make sure she gets a safe passage out of the country. Providing money won't be a problem, though I'll need someone to change it into Muggle money without raising suspicion." With a final gentle squeeze Oliver let go of Alicia's hand, suddenly overcome by an over-abundance of re-newed energy.
"So how about I go and see what I can do about some provisions for her and you go and pick her up? She should be waiting riiiight....here." Oliver pointed to a spot on the map of the Muggle neighbourhood he had been patrolling that night. "Just tell her you're my friend and share my adrenaline addiction, everything should work out fine from that point on. In fact, I reckon she'll connect more easily with you than she did with me." Oliver paused and grinned. "Bedroom looks aside, you look a lot more sane than I do," he admitted, winked and apparated away. There were people to meet and embarrassment to be faced the moment he tried to speak French again. Oh, the things Oliver did in the name of freedom!
