“A lucky coincidence, I’m sure, Captain,” Alicia smiled back and closed the door behind Oliver. His nickname for her had always made her smile, though she refused to play along to the extent of calling him Master Po in return. ‘Captain’ would do just fine, besides, that title wasn’t completely farfetched.
She opened her mouth to remind him that as per usual he could just help himself to anything he wanted, but never got further when he put his hand on her arm. It was cold, at least that’s what she convinced herself, since why else would she shiver at his touch? His seriousness had her worry about the level of trouble he might have gotten himself into, however his words revealed something even Alicia hadn’t imagined.
“You found a Muggleborn girl?” she asked him, slightly confused as for how he needed her help in that matter. Of the two, he was the one who made the real money, so Alicia failed to see how she could possibly help him out in this matter. Then another thought hit her. “Is she alright? I’m... I’m... I’m not sure what...” her voice trailed off as she tried to figure out the best way to help this girl, but however long she had managed to sleep, that sleep had muddled her mind a little, and she was still waking up. “You need my help, and she needs sleep.”
