He seemed so passionate about helping, and Michelle noted that, as he'd said, he probably wasn't particularly good at lying. He seemed to say exactly what was on his mind. Either that or he was completely playing her, but her gut told her that he wasn't. Michelle uncrossed her arms, chewing her thumbnail anxiously. The idea of having someone other than herself to count on, even for just a little bit, was so appealing.
"And your friend?" Michelle asked hesitantly. "Does she have a fatal adrenaline addiction also? I mean, you should probably check with her, before just up and volunteering her, shouldn't you?"
