Michelle took the fact that he hadn't yet stunned her or tried to take her by force yet as a good sign. She thought of JD and the fact that she'd helped her and had offered to help anyone else she came across and Michelle knew that she couldn't be the only person who felt that way. But nonetheless, the fact that she was standing in the middle of a muggle street having a conversation with a strange wizard about the fact that she was a muggleborn seemed so surreal after months of not talking to anyone.
"I don't really stay anywhere long enough for a dropoff system to work. And I'm going to have to get out of London, now, after this." She was running out of places to go, and she knew she couldn't leave the UK, because then she'd never be able to get back for her sister. Michelle took at deep breath and felt tears prickling at the corner of her eyes so she looked away, trying not to think about how tired she was of having to go from place to place, and how she had no idea how long it was going to last, and she didn't know what to do about her sister, and how alone she felt. "There really isn't anything you could do to help, anyways. It's too dangerous." Her voice cracked and she turned away, closing her eyes and pinching the bridge of her nose to keep from actually crying. "You should go. Before you get in trouble."
