This made it twice in the past month or so that Michelle had run into a wizard in the most unexpected place; first one that left a copy of the Prophet in the muggle bookstore, and now one wandering around a muggle neighborhood casting protection spells on their houses. It was really a bit of a miracle that the wizarding world was still a secret.
"I'm not exactly from here, so I wouldn't know," she said, crossing her arms and watching him carefully. Her wand was stashed up her sleeve and she wrapped her fingers around the tip of it, hesitating for a moment before continuing. "From the looks of it I'm pretty sure you'd be the only wizard in the neighborhood. Assuming your fiance's a muggle, that is," she said, looking for any sort of reaction. "There's a squib, though. My aunt. Which is why I'm here," she added quickly, by way of an alibi of her own.
