Seamus smiled and slung his arm around her shoulders companionably. "No worries, I didn't explain myself well, like as not. Y'know me, open mouth, insert foot." He popped the last bite of rice krispy bun in his mouth and washed it down with some butterbeer, giving her shoulder a gentle squeeze. "Ah, Lav, if anyone's gettin' judged for that, I think it's Ron. He didn't exactly handle things well, yeah?"
Gazing out over the water, he enjoyed the peace of the moment. He felt incredibly at ease with her - well, when they weren't getting their signals crossed - and sometimes he'd half-thought that it would be far too easy to blur certain lines between them...but her friendship had always meant too much to him and so he'd never let himself fully consider it.
He forced his mind away from 'dangerous' topics, nudging her again and saying, "yeah they will, Lav, the right ones will."
