Seamus nearly choked on the last bite of his sandwich after her last comment. Ignoring the part about her 'switching teams,' he cleared his throat and responded. "No, Lav," he sighed, "that wasn't what I meant at all." Why did this seem to happen with them so often? They'd known each other for such a long time, yet they seemed to keep getting their signals crossed. "I meant that y'might have t'wait a fair bit because most of us blokes aren't worth it. We're pants at things like this."
He looked at her sincerely, "And that it would take a lot for some bloke t'be worthy of you, because," he paused to swallow, "y'know, you're worth a lot."
