Lavender soon stopped smiling after his next comment, which she took up in entirely the wrong way. Even as Seamus was complimenting her culinary skills, she felt a little sour. She might be waiting a long time? She didn't know what Seamus meant, but she took it that she would be lucky to find someone worth it. "Thanks," She said, a touch bitterly. "So what are my options? Settle for whoever will have me, or maybe switch teams and give women a go? I'd like to have a little faith that I might meet some guy who wouldn't mind treating me the way I ought to be treated."
