"Well, we can Floo them when we get back. It's not the same but it's something, yeah?"
Operation Cheer Seamus Up was not a complete success yet, but Lavender hadn't expected it to be easy. With a little smirk, she bowed her head at his compliment, "Why thank you, my friend! I also make fantastic rice krispy buns, so prepare to be awed even furthermore by my amazing talent."
Lavender kept most of her attention on not dropping any delicious fillings from her sandwich, so she missed the weight behind Seamus's stare. "Well, who else would I bring back? Ron spent Christmas at his house, and he was a rubbish boyfriend anyway so I'm glad my parents didn't meet him, never mind my brothers. I haven't had any other boyfriend worth that sort of introduction, and well, you're my best male friend." Lavender rushed the last part, rambling it out. She hadn't meant to put such an emphasis on boyfriends, and certainly didn't want Seamus to think that by being here, she thought he was her boyfriend. No, this was just one friend doing another friend a favour. "Besides, it's not like it's the first time you've visited. Mum and Dad think you're great fun."
