Blaise didn't think hey were going out of their way to get in trouble so much as it was being watched for. In the past, the school had been weighted in favor of Gryffindors. Whatever you chose to believe, Blaise thought that much was undeniable. They'd gotten away with ridiculous amounts of trouble. Now the pendulum had swung far to the other side, and while Slytherins had always been favored by Snape, they were clearly atop the pile in general.
Which was as it should be, given most of them came from important families. But Blaise wasn't any more a fan of the Carrows than he had been of Dumbledore, though for wildly different reasons.
People were getting in trouble because they could get away with less, and because they were more violently opposed to what was going on. Slythrins might have hated Dumbledore, and his manner of doing things, but they'd never really out and out rebelled in the same way that Gryffindors, and even a few from other Houses, were doing now. It made for a hostile, uncomfortable environment, no matter which side you were on. Being in the I.S. made that simpler. It was a defined stance, and you knew exactly where your enemies lie, since they were the ones you were putting into detentions, usually.
None of which particularly mattered, since in the end, Blaise hadn't had much more choice about joining the squad than the people put in detentions had about being there.
He just shrugged loosely to Daphne and half smiled. "They're certainly more vocal about it." Blaise gave her a wider smile and nodded his chin toward the other end of the pitch. "So is it too juvenile to challenge you to a race? Two loops around the Pitch?"
