Blaise had always thought that Slytherin's tendency toward limiting female players was ridiculous. The other teams proved well enough that they were perfectly capable of playing as well as, or better than, the male players. He considered it one of many holdovers from a more antiquated time, though, and something that wasn't likely to change. And not something he had enough interest in to really worry about changing.
He shrugged, hovering with one hand on his broom, the other making a vague sort of wave in the air. "Well enough. We won the last match, at least." Which was a relief, given it was against Gryffindor and tempers would have run high if they'd lost. Blaise wondered how much of their success was due to Gryffindor being down most of their previous lineup, but he'd take a win where it came, either way. He smiled a little wryly. "Harder than I expected, but not unrewarding," he admitted. Not physically, but taking orders from the team Captain sometimes was galling.
