Terry seemed to be struggling to get words to come out of his mouth. He would start to speak and then change his mind, or something. This happened a few times, but Susan was patient and she wouldn’t laugh at him. She actually thought it was rather adorable. When he finally did get a compliment out, Susan smiled shyly, cheeks turning pink.
“Thanks,” she replied, not sure what else to say. “You don’t look bad, either.” After she said it, she was quite embarrassed and was sure she blushed even more.
“Oh, I’m having a great time!” Mostly. Except for the whole part where all the boys were acting like scaredy cats. All but, Terry, anyway.
“What about you? What have you and the Ravenclaws been up to?” Because, from here, it certainly looked like sitting around on their arses to her.
