"I like winter," Hannah agreed, surveying the few windows lit by lamps in Hogsmeade, the dark shadows of the forest, silver moonlight on the lake, and the frost that refused to leave the rest of the grounds. "I like how everyone wants to be in front of a fireplace, or cozy under quilts with a cup of tea; there's something nice about getting to spend time with your housemates and just talk." It had been truer in years past, of course, but both Hannah and Padma were well aware of this year's failings. "Besides, it gives us good reasons to be wandering around inside the castle," she grinned, for the one great thing to help counterbalance the rest was the DA. "Did Parvati tell you we found the Protean Charm?"
