He was a little startled to hear her voice concern over the very thing that had been bothering him, but he quickly recovered. "Should've guessed you'd know about it," he grinned wryly. "And no, he isn't. I take it you didn't spot him anywhere out n'about?"
He stepped around the couch, crossing his arms over his chest as he moved to meet her near the portrait hole. "It's almost an hour past curfew now. I don't like that he hasn't made it back yet."
