Seamus was a bit perplexed at Lav's odd behavior, and he still felt rather bad for making the joke about Neville's hair. But he was truly flummoxed by her statement that she wasn't going to Hogsmeade. "Well, no...but I thought...I guess I thought there might be someone you wanted t'go with, and maybe we could all meet up for a Butterbeer at the end of the day." He sighed, and ran a hand through his hair. Oh did his brain hurt right now.
Taking in her still rather distressed appearance, and realizing that most of the hour he'd planned to spend in the library had disappeared, he tugged lightly at her arm, gesturing towards the interior of the castle with his free hand. "Come on...come t'dinner with me? I heard a rumor that the house elves have made an especially brilliant pudding t'night." It was a poor peace offering, but for a bloke who was still a bit bewildered as to what he'd done, it was the best he could manage. "Guaranteed t'clear up any signs of brattyness or prattyness," he teased. "So it should do us both a world of good."
